Today, I have come across a monster of a house price and which no doubt comes with an estate agency selling fee to match.
Along The Bishops Avenue in Hampstead, home to middle eastern princes and the like, is a new build project pertaining to a planning consent for a 12 bedroom house of 30,000 square feet. That’s about TWENTY times the size of your average four bedroom detached house.
If you have £45,000,000 you can buy it. If you do, the seller will be in for an agent’s commission of £1,125,000. OVER ONE MILLION POUNDS IN FEES!
And guess what, it’s those lucky chaps at Knight Frank again who get to spend it.
Now that’s a fee that I’d like to hear justified.
The owner of the property might like to know that Emoov will sell it for him for a fee of just £349.
Just think of what you could buy with the other £1,249,651…
