Knight Frank, estate agents to the well heeled, have just bagged a commission that, based on their typical fee, is likely to be enough to buy a house in itself.
They have just sold Park Place, a 200 acre pile in Henley on Thames for £140 million. Naturally, it has ten bedrooms, a spa and a helicopter pad to ensure that its new anonymous Russian owner is properly accommodated for.
Apparently, Knight Frank’s accounts department had to query the commission invoice as they assumed it had a decimal point in the wrong place.
Emoov’s fee is £349.00 plus vat. NOT £3490.00. Woops…
