The UK’s Most Expensive Property

pricey home

As chintzy gin palaces go, this one is certainly the most expensive.

If you’re in the market for something at around £100 million, look no further.

It’s Heath Hall in The Bishops Avenue, Hampstead and boasts 14 bedroom suites, a tennis court and the obligatory indoor swimming pool and tennis court. It’s a little overlooked but that’s London for you.

Glentree Estates, Hampstead’s current agent of choice, stand to pocket a cool million in fees. Not bad for taking a few photos and sticking it on Rightmove.

The owner, Andreas Panayiotou, should really know better though. He made his massive fortune in property and sold thousands of flats in 2007 to concentrate on acquiring hotels. So he’s no stranger to the indignity of traditionally high and unjustifiable estate agency fees.

Using an online estate agent instead would have bought him a significant amount of fuel for his Gulfstream, one would have thought?

Ho hum 😉
