A variety of property pioneers were invited to Rain-making Loft, London, to attend an event hosted by Property Future on Friday last week. The line-up of speakers covered a range of topics from property crowd-funding to the potential of military technology for reducing photography costs for estate agents.
As the leading digital disruptor in the estate agency sector, CEO of eMoov.co.uk, Russell Quirk was invited to the event as a keynote speaker. Who better to speak at an event on the future of property, than the head of a company driving the change towards the future?
Top of the agenda was eMoov’s approach to customer service and its importance as a component in a business built on innovation.
Rightmove’s Head of Innovation Hannes Buhrmann also spoke at the event, giving valuable insight in to the process the property portal goes through when developing a new product.
Founder and CEO, Russell Quirk, commented:
“’It’s not all about tech. Innovation is all about doing things much better and in a differentiating and defensible way. Our blend of using the brightest tech to assist some aspects of our business PLUS GREAT PEOPLE to ensure that the sensitive, really important bits such as offer negotiation and sales progression are handled in an impressive way, go to make up our USP. Our internal culture is pivotal to this and one of our ‘secret sauce’ ingredients.
Currently, no UK estate agent can beat us on that combination of platform tech; price performance; customer service (15th out of 22,000 estate agency branches on AllAgents) and fee value. It’s what makes eMoov unique and ever so investable as we’ve so far proven. Twice. The future isn’t just some robotic application to selling homes as some of our competitors believe, it’s a careful mix.”
