Our latest research highlighted the amount made by UK homeonwers in 2015, through the increase in their property price. On average, UK homeowners made £524 a week, with those in London making £58,000 on average across each of the 32 boroughs.

The Sun ran the story first both in print and online, with the headline focusing on homeowners in parts of London earning themselves £64 an hour in 2015.

The Guardian also included the research in a print article on the housing boom of 1996. They used the statistic of the average UK homeowner making £27,000 over the course of 2015.
