Leading online estate agent, eMoov.co.uk, has continued to build on its industry-leading technology platform through partnering with Keypla, using their virtual property tour technology and analytics platform. The latest addition further improves a customer-centric offering, that has seen the company voted best online estate agent for customer experience for the last two consecutive years and number one in the country out of some 25,000+ agents.

Although other competitors in the space currently offer customers the option of a virtual property tour, eMoov have delayed this service to ensure a seamless integration with their existing technology platform, ensuring a product that will be unrivalled by anything currently on offer within the market, both where value and user experience are concerned.

As a result of this gradual integration, eMoov are able to offer their virtual tours free of charge, an additional extra that will cost home sellers between £79 and £100 with other agents in the space.

So far eMoov have been running a BETA test of the service and the customer feedback has been extremely positive. Having analysed the data on the impact of virtual tours and based on the results, eMoov will first iterate this feature across both Essex and London, before continuing to roll it out on a national level.

We’ve been working closely with Keypla who have been pivotal in the development of the virtual reality technology powering our latest product enhancement here at eMoov. While we know Virtual Tours are not new to the industry, we feel the way we have introduced them is a new and innovative way to use this type of media.

This is why we haven’t rushed into the virtual tour space lightly as it wasn’t about being the first to offer it, it was about offering the best possible product for our customers, in addition to being able to pull valuable data from the virtual tour interactions.

We are excited to be working with eMoov. Through our partnership, customers are able to get the full experience of a new property without stepping outside their home. We’re excited to see how customers are interacting with the tours and it means that alongside eMoov, we now have a far richer understanding of what customers find important during their property search. This data will give us insight into how buyers are interacting with a property online with virtual tours allowing so much more insight into buyer interactions than a still image. For us, the main event here is the data and the virtual tour is simply the mechanism to capture this data.

We have figured out a way to do this in a cost-effective way and we have decided to provide this service free of charge and pass on yet more value to our customers.

Keypla’s product really is a cut above the rest in terms of their data approach and we’re excited to work closely with them on developing this further. At the moment, the free virtual tour offer is only available to home sellers in London and Essex as we fine tune the capturing process and the data, but we look forward to offering it across the whole of the UK and we think our customers are going to be extremely impressed with the end result
