Emoov made an appearance as an exhibitor at Property4Media’s annual speed dating-esque meeting between all of the players in the property industry this past Tuesday at Landing Forty Two in the Leadenhall Building, or more commonly referred to as the “Cheesegrater”. The purpose of this event is to put all the best industry professionals and journalists under one roof to encourage networking among the entire sector and as the leading PR force in the online property space, producing all of our content in-house, it was only natural Emoov were in attendance.

The whole day’s spread included journalists covering everything property from national to international, from editors to feature writers to photographers, to those covering lifestyle, speciality and beyond. On the other side of the spectrum, PR representatives (and even CEOs) from some of the largest property brands both local and overseas were on hand to meet and network with journalists.

Before the event took place, Property4Media had a tool available to pre-book appointments among PR representatives and journalists. Emoov’s own Russell Quirk and James Lockett has lined up a few meetings and met some of the most respected names in the sector. journalists had free reign to roam the tables to speak with some of their chosen brands. Russell and James had the opportunity to meet some big names in property journalism including Dominic Connolly of the Mail on Sunday, Deborah Stone of the Express and Martina Lees of the Sunday Times.

Some of the day’s highlights included putting faces to names of some of the top journalists in property, an interview for Sky’s Property TV channel and having a stand across from our rivals Purplebricks, putting our competition aside for the day. The whole event was buzzing and all the guests were excited to meet everyone across the sector.

The day turned into an evening of festivities with the Property Press Awards, where over 100 journalists from across the UK were shortlisted for their exceptional performances in property journalism. The categories awarded all types of reporting from lifestyle to social media to business to freelance.

Congratulations to all the finalists and winners from Emoov!
