The gender gap between men and women has shortened to 12% from 17% in 2009 when it comes to mortgages and it is at its lowest since the financial crisis in 2007. Although this is an optimistic sign that women’s salaries are increasing in comparison to men’s, there still continues to be a difference in wage between the genders.
