Your Buyers Do Not Care About Brexit

Oct 21, 2019

The past few days have been amongst the most uncertain we’ve had. Are MPs going to vote for the deal agreed last week? Are they even going to vote at all today? And will Boris push Brexit back yet again? The questions keep piling up. With all this Brexit palaver, selling your home in the environment might seem a tad riskier than usual.

However, not everything is always as it seems – and we’ve got some great news if you’re thinking of selling:

🚨🚨 BREXIT DOES NOT AFFECT THE HOUSING MARKET!🚨 🚨

As a matter of fact, the only certainty we have in these uncertain months (and years), is that NOW is the best time to sell your home.

And here’s why…

Why should I sell my house NOW?

In a nutshell, you should sell your house now because the property market has never looked better for sellers.

The general scepticism that spread during the Brexit ordeal has left fewer sellers on the housing market. But the same can’t be said for buyers, who are as eager as ever to find a new home.

According to Rightmove housing expert Miles Shipside, “Thousands of potential sellers are holding back compared to this time a year ago, although the number of buyers agreeing purchases is virtually the same.”

So, that’s fewer sellers and just as many buyers then. But there’s even more good news…

Despite the downturn in sellers, the number of sales agreed that have collapsed so far this year are at their lowest in four years. Those who are buying and selling are serious, with a focus on making sure transactions complete.

There is no doubt about it – the scale is pointing directly in favour of you sellers! The time to act is now. Make your move as the current seller’s market won’t last long, and buyers will dominate once more.

In short, there has never been a better time to sell your property.
