When we bought the house in 2012 it needed modernising throughout.  We lived in it for a year to really get to know the place - how we used the space, where the sunlight fell - and then renovated it as a place we'd stay long term.  As it turned out, we moved out of London not long after the work was finished.  We miss the house but love hearing from tenants about how well the space works for them, and how they notice and appreciate the thought and care we put into renovating it.
